Sorry for the lack of posts, but I'm here now, and that's what counts right?

So yesterday I went over to Brooklyn with my friends for an engagement shoot. It's been a bit long overdue but I must say that I'm satisfied with the photos. I wish I brought one of my other lenses with me but ehh, what I can I do? I just hope that they don't find my photos atrocious hahaha.

After I was done with their photos, I made sure to snap a few photos for myself. The coast of Brooklyn has the best view of Manhattan, no wonder the rent here is so flippin' expensive. I remember when I was growing up, nobody wanted to live in Brooklyn. When people said that they lived in Brooklyn, they always got a  response like "ohh...." which is translation for "You poor thing...". It's a complete turn-around now, it's funny how things change in such a short amount of time.

Anyway, hope you guys are doing well.
I really should be in bed right now....

  1. These photos make me miss NYC so much. I had a super early curfew growing up there so I never got to see these parts of the city! Lovely shots.

  2. Wow that's an amazing view. Yeah it is interesting how suburbs can change so fast - too bad it so often means that people get pushed out by increased rents etc!

  4. The Brooklyn Bridge is so gorgeous! It's funny how things can change so much over time (all those Gossip Girl seasons of ragging on Dan and Jenny for living in Brooklyn), though I love the feeling of NYC in general.

  5. Wow I didn't know that Brooklyn was once viewed like that. So weird to see where it is now! I loved that area when I visited. Such a different world despite being the same bustling city.

And I am sure your photos were great :)

  8. It must be so exciting to visit Brooklyn! I didn't manage to visit when I was there unfortunately, I only stayed in the Manhattan area. But what I'd give to see the view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Gorgeous <3

  10. An engagement shoot sounds pretty cool, especially in Brooklyn. Things can definitely change over time so it's just good to enjoy who you are, where you are, what you're doing. :]
