Goodbye 2015, and Good Riddance...

Well, 2015 is on its way out, and to be frank, I'm very excited that it's going out the door. 2015 was not a very good year for me; I lost friends, spent a lot of time unemployed, got a very bad job that I quit after 6 months. I was betrayed, taken advantage of, treated poorly, etc. I had so many plans and ideas for 2015, but they kind of fell through, and it sucks. 2015 really really sucked.

I don't really like to talk about my problems because I don't like to seem ungrateful, because I really really am grateful. I am grateful that my family and I are healthy, that we are not going through major financial struggles, that we live in nyc, that I can pay off my school loans every month, etc.

I should not deny my struggles; they are real, and I have every right to be upset about them, but I should not dwell in them either!!! I need to get up and keep going, try to find opportunities, and look for some inspiration. I also need to recognize the good things that happened, such as:

- Finally got my drivers license.
- Lost some weight, ate a lot more fruits & veggies.
- Saved up a substantial amount of money
- Saw friends enter relationships with great people, and find great jobs!
- Bought my brother a laptop for college
- Developed a deeper relationship with God.
- Adopted a rabbit =D
- Found ways to better cope with my anxiety/depression
- Applied to Grad School
- Made some new friends!

Anyway, hope that 2015 was good for all of you, and if not, hope 2016 is one hundred times better!
