Wow, I haven't posted since July 3rd! Sorry about that y'all.

Anyway, so every year a group from my old church (led my mom and dad) go on a mission trip to Haiti, to hold a camp for about 300+ children from the country side of Haiti. It's a lot of hard work, and it's SUPER HOT, but it's good for the soul you know? While there is still a great amount of poverty and suffering in Haiti, things are getting better and better. I went back in 2012, which was 2 years after the devastating earthquake that hit the capital, and compared to then, the capital has improved immensely, it's kind of amazing. There is still a major littering/garbage problem, which I would like to see get fixed. I'm sure they will soon.

Anyway, so while I was there, I didn't take out my camera very much because I was mostly working, or traveling, but I managed to take some photos, especially at the hotels that we stayed at. Hope you guys enjoy!

  1. You got some great shots, look like some beautiful scenery there! Glad to hear things are getting better there.

  2. Haiti is such a pretty place to have so much suffering. You captured some gorgeous photos!

  3. The picture of the mountains with the cloud cover over the tops is very moody. Haiti looks like a verdant, beautiful jungle where the people have built homes into the foliage. Great documentation.

  4. It's wonderful to hear that things are improving for the people of such a beautiful island, congrats on the great help you do over there xx
